If managing your thoughts and feelings is not the primary purpose of your life,
maybe it's time to give this subject some consideration. Some day the roof will
come crashing in on your life, as it does with all of us. How we manage our
thoughts and feelings during the calmer times in life will have an enormous effect on how we think
and feel during troubled times. This holds through no matter who or
what you are. Whether you are the president of the United States of America or
living on the streets of Calcutta, the Queen of Connemara or the Pauper of
As always I hope you are well and happy and not letting your
thoughts and feelings get you down. Especially at this time of year.

Just Like a Monday
Sometimes life can be a real bag of nettles. It can seem impossible. For some life is unbearable. But you are not helpless and you don't have to keep getting burned. I wish you well and hope you find help and comfort on this page. I wrote a song in the 1980s called "Just Like a Monday" and the lines still hold through today:
"It's nothing you did that makes me feel sad.
It's nothing you said that makes me feel bad.
I just feel blue, blue, blue just like a Monday".
Wishing you welland happy...
Peace of mind is only seconds away. In fact you can, if you want it bad enough, achieve it in the blink of an eye. Here's a little exercise to help you on your way. If you practice this regularly you will be amazed at the results. The more you do it the easier it will be for you to go to that quiet peaceful place within yourself at a moment's notice. And it only takes seconds to learn and do.
Wherever you are right now. Just close your eyes for a few seconds.
I hope you are well and happy wherever you are right now...

For now, I want to share a bit of amusement with
you, a lesson in economics that hopefully will bring a smile to your face. It's the story of how the people of Bailenabpócaífolamha (The Town of
Empty Pockets) in the mid west of Inishuptotheireyeballs managed to clear all
I hope you are warm, dry, well and happy today where
ever you are. Its wet and windy in Drogheda at the moment but as I've heard
said so many times before "that's just the weather".
Unfortunately at the moment the weather in Ireland
and many other parts of the world is making life very difficult and even
unbearable for many people. Lives have been lost and property destroyed by flooding
and storm force winds.
Where ever you are in the world right now if you are
among those people caught up in some kind of disaster.
I hope you are feeling well and happy right now. If not maybe you can get some peace and comfort here.
